The Pubscrawl event was hugely popular, and being the pair of klutz that we are, we totally forgot to take pictures of a lot of it! Thankfully lots of other people (including the beeb!) did and here’s some fine examples we’ve found so far:
Diane at Heart-Shaped did a great write up on the event here and here:

Fantastic photoset by Ian Michael Spooner on Facebook:
More lovely pics, this time by Pixelwitch on Flickr:

Paul Cantrell also has a smashin Pubscrawl Photoset on Flickr:

And finally, we even made it onto Look North! Yey! (well, Miss Panda’s head and our friend Graeme’s hand did anyways!):

We made a big fat huge projection of Sheffield through the eyes of two simpletons who live here. The piece was looped on a huge screen throughout the night with music provided by the wonderful DJ Miss Panda (aka Fresh Fruits DJs!). We also kitted out The Bowery with all the clouds and rainbows necessary for it to become an overpoweringly cute place to be!

The piece features many many local landmarks, characters and stories… how many can you spot??

After a week of crazyness and staying up til 5:20am, we were finally ready for Pubscrawl on Friday… and what a night it was! Sheffield has never seen anything like it before. 10 Pubs, 10 amazing artists and an army of enthusiastic, excited and beer-thirsty Sheffield folk.
We’re writing this on the Tuesday afterwards but still buzzing from the event. It was every kind of brilliant and the turnout phenomenal. It really proved what an incredible and creatively rich place Sheffield is. We certainly felt extremely proud and honoured to be part of things.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came down to see us and the other artists at the venues, Graeme, Neil, Corey, Mark, Vanhessa and everyone at The Bowery for all their help, and of course to Pete Mckee, Hannah, Chris and Charlie for organising the whole thing. What a blast it was!
Here’s some pics we took amidst the chaos of setting up!

Pub Scrawl! 20/01/2012

On the 20th Jan, 10 of Sheffield’s pubs will play host to a pub crawl the likes of which has never been seen before!
Infamous local doodler, artist and all-round good-bod Mr Pete McKee has rounded up 10 of our beloved city’s finest creative types and paired them up with 10 of the city’s finest boozers for a one night explosion of brilliance.
We’ve been allocated a smashin pub and we’re currently working flat out on a huge new sheffield-inspired projection piece for the event. Our night will also feature all sorts of silly goings on, with the wonderful Miss Panda taking to the wheels of steel and some new and exclusive goodies available from the pop-up TADOShop.

The night will also feature amazing work from Warp Films, Nick Deakin, Lord Bunn, Ian Anderson/tDR, Geo, Sarah Abbott, Fauagraphic, Fine and Dandy and Tom J Newel.

STUFFING and SEWING! We’ve been superbusy making a whole bunch of new stuff for the re-launch of the TADO-Shop! We know we’re running a bit behind to get it done in time for xmas but it will be very soon indeed and there should still be plenty time for posting.
We’d like to say a HUGE thank you to the amazingly talented Felt Mistress for her stitching skills and help with putting these cushions together. Ho Ho Ho, it’s starting to feel a bit festive round here!

TADO do the Doozers!

….And here’s our pieces for the show! We decided to pay homage to our favourite Fraggle Rock characters, the hard working and songful Doozers! We hope you like them, we had a whopping amount of fun making them from Paper Mache!
We wish we were able to attend the opening tonight as it looks like an incredible show. Please check out Gallery Nucleus’ site for all the info on the exhibition and to view all the pieces available.
